Play is an essential part of a child's development, and outdoor play areas give children the space to follow their own ideas and interests, socialise with friends, and keep physically active. In order for this to be effective and allow parents to relax while children play independently, the area needs to be safe. Our playground gates and matching fencing are RoSPA approved and conform to all current play area safety guidelines.
As we've highlighted, gates can cause injury to small children. It is therefore integral to install a safe gate into your safe playground. A self closing mechanism is strongly recommended to maintain that the gate is in the closed position and should not close quicker than 5 seconds.

Arun District Council selected Kompan Ltd, an award-winning playground solutions provider to design and build a new play area. Naturally, the play area needed boundary fencing to ensure children were kept safe and secure while having fun, and parents could keep an eye on their children without interfering.
As part of the regeneration, £300k is being invested on redesigning and rebuilding the popular children’s playground and play area. Plans for the new playground have been PiPA (Plan Inclusive Play Areas) approved, making it the only facility in Kent to offer this standard.
We supplied our Anti-Trap Bow Top fencing for Rhyl Rubgy Club to create a boundary around the playground and provide a safe area to allow children to play.
